I know, I haven't written for ages, but the writing muse seems to have deserted me. And I can't find a lot of my pictures... and our camera keeps dying so pictures don't happen as much... maybe I need a new one.
Anyway, Thanksgiving was great fun with the Butlers. We went to the church and played volleyball and the boys played basketball and we ate yummy food and played games. And we met Andrea, Matt's now fiancee, who is great. Here's a picture of the fam at the church:

Here is a picture of my Christmas window painting--or should I say winter, since it's still up--that I did.
I guess I didn't take pictures of Christmas morning, I decided to just enjoy it instead of trying to document every second... maybe that was a mistake... but I did get this picture of the girls in their new dresses and holding their christmas bears from Grandma:
We also spent December buying new couches and rearranging the house, and finishing cabinets!! So here are pictures of the house how it is arranged now...

My finished cabinets!! I put the hardware on the doors by myself! With the help of my mom, who held things still while I drilled and kept me sane when they didn't fit exactly the first three times I tried... Go girl power!! (Altough I can't believe I don't have any pictures of her visit! I am fired as family photographer...)
Although I do have to give props to John, who since this picture was taken wired and installed an over-the-range microwave, which I love. He installed a new circuit breaker and fed the wire through the walls and everything. There is nothing this man cannot do.
Yeah! I love my cabinets! And I can almost say that it was worth all the work to do them. Maybe for sure in a couple months... :)
John has also been working on the crawlspace, putting in a moisture barrier and such...
